In Complete the Monument (CTM) maps, the player is placed in a challenging area full of hostile mobs and must survive and find specific items that can be used to complete a monument. The original concept for this style of map was created by Vechs.
Survival Minecraft was it's most fun for me when it was new. When there were unknown locations to discover - and the rules of the game weren't fully understood. Xiphias was made to give that feeling of discovery back, with a mix of CTM (Complete the Monument) elements to give you a set of goals to achieve.

At least, you managed to get your trustworthy Susile Gunblade Mk.27 on your way here. Let's hope that's enough to defend yourself from the swarm of bloodthirsty guards coming your way.
Your vacation trip to the nether went horribly wrong and now you are stranded in this nightmare. Retrieve 6 obsidian pieces to repair your nether portal so you can go home and get an actual vacation, as you're gonna need it after this difficult challenge.
